Gratitude

Gratitude

Gratitude is one of the major highways to the Kingdom of Heaven within you.
Jesus always said, “I thank thee, Father, that thou hearest me”.
To acknowledge the source is to be close to the source, and to be close to the source is to receive more from the source.
To be alive is the greatest gift, but to be awake to this truth, you must exercise gratitude. To say thanks to God is to acknowledge his love and craftsmanship. To say thanks is to unlock spiritual gifts, which are the fundamental building blocks of life.
You are the architect of your earthly pilgrimage, and gratitude is one of your main tools. To be wealthy is to be thankful for all you are and have but to keep pressing on towards greater prosperity. To wait for a future date to be grateful is folly.
Gratitude can transform our vision, so we see the truth behind our problems. Every problem is like a pineapple. Its shell is rough and ugly, but its content is sweet. Gratitude fosters faith, which is the currency for transforming bad into good.
I once knew a man who had almost everything I could imagine would make a person grateful beyond measure, but he took his life because of a sense of entitlement and ingratitude. He complained about everything. His lack of gratitude blinded him. The moment you let your mind dwell on the common, poverty, the sordid, unforgiveness, and entitlement, you start weaving a form of hell. You start disconnecting yourself from the trustworthy source of power, God.
As an artist, most of my work is centered around keys to a higher consciousness to which gratitude belongs. Imagery can remind us of past, present and future blessings. A beautiful portrait of yourself or a loved one or of nature can deliver a boost of gratitude each time you make eye contact with it.
I am thankful I almost went blind in my teens. I have a heightened sense of spiritual matters as a result. It taught me not to rely on my lower faculties.
Here is a suggestion for you.
Find three things you find difficult to accept and be thankful for them and see if your attitude towards them changes. Your problems are blessings in disguise.
The seasons of life are perfect. You can enjoy different fabrics.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
