Heaven is above your head, wrapped around you and underneath your feet. We are swimming in an infinite ocean of supreme wisdom designed to ensure a heavenly life.
Denial to engage with the great reservoir of wisdom, embedded in our hearts, recorded in ancient scriptures and abundantly curated in nature, is the cause of failure in life. Nature is its University and gallery. The initiative is all that is required to glean the secrets. The choice to pause and think. I don’t mean secondhand thoughts, but original thoughts. Fresh from the Power. Aha moment, kind of thoughts.
Of all the new year's resolutions you can make, accepting nature’s invitation to think daily will transform your life the quickest. There is a source of impeccable guidance available to you, which you can access from anywhere, but the outdoors is better.
Go out for a walk often, and have no preconceived notions. Keep a quiet head and say, please teach me. Block all else out.
THE UNIVERSITY DOWN THE ALLEY
The Presence took me down the alley. And the lesson unfolded.
THE SNOW AND THE HOLLY
White, soft, matt, cold, gentle and permeable, she had descended from the heavens radiant with light. She appears to be vulnerable but can freeze an adult elephant.
Dark green, rigid, shiny, impermeable and spiky, he was facing the heavens waiting in anticipation for a life-altering encounter. He appears tough with thorns which reveals his fear of being attacked.
The snow nourished and cleansed the holly, and after a lifetime of two hours, the Sun made an entrance and called her home through the earth. The holly did not need its spikes anymore and so let them go.
THE NATURE OF THE HOLLY
The young, vulnerable and naive holly grows spikes for protection from prey, but let’s go of the spikes as they mature.
Before I walked closely with The Christ, I thought I needed to protect myself; then, I came to the knowledge that I had an unrivaled security detail. To be powerful is to appear vulnerable.
OTHER THOUGHTS
There is a season to be a lamb and a season to be a Lion. To grow spikes and to let them go.
You should always have room in your heart to accommodate the vulnerable. You will become vulnerable one day.
A thought always generates another thought if you stay open.
